A lot of people were absent. Maybe only 15 people went and the teacher asked us if we wanted to play a sort of psychology/sociology game. We didn’t know that he’s also a psych teacher till today but he said he’s played this game in other classes and its interesting so we said cool, better than taking notes and shit right? Here are the rules:
Take a piece of paper and write the names and an initial of the 3 most recent people you’ve liked the most and put your name at the top (your name is only for the teacher to see). Fold it as many times as you can, throw it in the bag and wait until it gets shaken. If the teacher pulls your paper, he will say one of the names on the list and people will have to guess who’s list it is by their reaction ect… You can’t lie because the teacher knows its your list. Then you’ll have to say what happened and why it didn’t develop into something more or hasnt yet. If you don’t feel comfortable speaking about one, you can move to the next on the list.
When he finished telling us the rules, me and my boys were like

“It’s gonna get crazy in this shit”
So we wrote the names, threw it in the bag and the teacher shook it. He pulled out this paper and said the first name. We looked around and saw this girl staring at the floor, I knew it was hers. She looked down and said pass and the teacher said the next name out loud, “Simon”. She looked down and started saying what happened.
“We’ve known eachother for a couple years but he lived in another state. He’d always come visit because his dad lives here. One summer we got really close and were basically a couple and he said he’d move to New York to go to school and for me. When he moved here, his relationship status on facebook cha-“
She didn’t finish the word because she started sniffling and getting all teary eyed. Her friend rubbed her shoulder and the girl and her friend went outside the classroom. Everyone had a moment of silence like the Pope died and the teacher said “ok, lets end the game” and everyone was like “NO, lets finish this”. So he shook again and pulled my friends list. The first name the teacher said on his list, is a girl I set him up with. I laughed so hard and he gave me the death stare. He said outloud why it didnt work out and the teacher shook again… Motherfucker pulled my list.
My reaction? I don’t think theres a GIF that explains it more than this

The teach said the first name and I tried to contain myself but my friends saw my initial reaction. I couldn’t back down though… I didn’t say pass and I said why it didn’t go farther, if we still talk, how I feel about her ect. My friends said “what’re the other names?”. Before I could say no, the teacher said the other name. I wanted to get the crossbow from Black Ops and shoot that nigga. I told them what happened with that girl and yeah
The point of this game is see peoples reactions when confronted or questioned about the past. To see their body language, tone of voice, hesitation to answer ect. To see how the mention of a persons name can change your whole demeanor. To see how you act when questioned about the past in front of people in your inner circle or outer circle. I’d play this game again… I’d put fake names though. Shit caught me off guard.
